The Challenge:
Valve packages were required in a remote part of the facility lacking an air supply to power a traditional air-to-open/spring-to-close actuator. The client required a heavy-duty, fire-safe butterfly valve with long term positiveisolation capabilities. Client needed the packages on site within four weeks to complete the project

The Solution:
Supply a package containing a Zwick Triple Offset Butterfly Valve and a TRIAC Electric Fail-Safe Actuator. Zwick stocks Triple Offset Butterfly valves at their distribution center in Houston, Texas, allowing for quick delivery. The precise designof the Zwick Triple Offset Butterfly valve met the requirement for a repeatable tight shutoff in an environmentally sensitive area. A-T Controls was able to supply a TRIAC Electric Fail-Safe Spring Return Actuator from their inventory in Cincinnati, Ohio. The valve packages were assembled, tested, and delivered to the job site in less than four weeks as promised to the customer.
